I was looking at one of my favorite paintings; Peter Paul Rubens' "The Tiger Hunt" (1615) and it occurred to me that the chaos & irony of the composition could be seen as an allegory for certain contemporary events. As I was pondering that... the words "pure fuckery" popped into my head and I knew immediately that I had to make this artwork.
