Exuberant, nostalgic, irreverent...
XRAY(Bryan Lanier) is a contemporary, urban pop artist and surrealist based in Montreal, Quebec. A passionate advocate for mental health awareness; his creative ethos has helped him to overcome trauma and find the magic & innocence that's often hidden beneath the veneer of our commercialized modern world. He draws inspiration from his decades of participation in skateboard culture and an affinity for vintage and contemporary American pop culture & advertising... always delivering an emotional charge that transcends the stereotypical shallowness of pop art. Since relocating from Orlando, Florida, he's become a prominent figure in the Montreal art scene with an influence that reaches internationally.

XRAY's art has gained recognition leading to collaborations with brands like Pepsi, Kraft, HBO, Disney, Universal Studios and Campbell's Soup. In addition, he's produced artwork for local legends like The Montreal Canadiens hockey team and beloved Quebec musician, Hugo Mudie. His large scale mural work has been seen in multiple productions by the reknowned MU organization and in notable festivals such as Montreal's MURAL Festival and Toronto's Yorkville Murals.
